Probably a issue of compatibility with mercurial 1.8
It seems that mercurial moved the bookmarks, they are now a core feature.
error:
importing Hg objects into Git
abort: No module named bookmarks!

Update your hg-git, we addressed this part of the 1.8 migration. There are still some issues, but nobody has had time to investigate.
