Difference between ExerciseAction and PhysicalActivity

I'm kind of stuck between the usage of ExerciseAction and PhysicalActivity for my exercise explanation page, containing a step-by-step guide on how to perform, common mistakes etcetera. They both serve pretty much the same purpose as far as I can tell. What are the differences between the two and when should I use which one?

@simr1994 - I would suggest being guided by particular features that use (or don't use) schema.org terms. For Google these are at https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/search-gallery but I'm not aware of any specific use of those terms.
