Hi, first of all, neat project!

I logged in to the dashboard.scivm.com. Some of the menus on the dashboard left sidebar are throwing errors, and the django debug screen is presented to the user. I don't know if you meant to set DEBUG to true in prod, and wanted to let you know.

If you want a test user, let me know. I do django development on a project with related goals.

It is still in a rough state and the version at dashboard.scivm.com is old. I plan to do a lot of development on the site starting in April though I may be able to start in the last week of March also. I will have a dedicated server available for users to test out the service though I intend users to install into their own cloud.

I don't have a lot of free time to contribute in March, but maybe I could stand up the dashboard in my own environment after March. By any chance will you be at PyCon in Montreal in April? Or perhaps at SciPy US later this year? If you run any sprints at either, please post about it. I'd like a heads up so that I could come by and say hi, look at code, etc. This is interesting stuff and I'd like you to consider submitting an abstract/talk/sprint/etc proposal to the SciPy conference. CFPs are open and will close either end of March or beginning of April iirc. I'm a tech co-chair so if you have any questions let me know.

Do you have a mailing list for the project? I would like to join the mailing list to follow discussions.

I'll go ahead and close this. I didn't see a contact address on the site, and normally I would have just emailed this to someone.

Oh wait, before I go, I'd also like to know if at some point you'd like to participate in any openhatch events such as Open Source Comes to Campus. I help with the Chicago ones since I am local there, and if you are interested I could see if any participants would like to work on scivm tasks. I'd need some advance prep thought, and the link above gives some examples of prep.

Yes, I think the project can progress faster then some of these proprietary PaaS solutions if there is a group of contributors. It is not in a shape yet where tasks can be given out but once I start again in April then it should get there quickly.
