Yes, because only behavior:edit has such methods. I don't know why, so better ask on Sciter forums.

Or, to be precise (from behavior:number docs):

this input element has no specific methods but <caption> sub-element has behavior:edit specific methods.

I believe, this is the answer you was looking for.
