Usage in React 17+

I'm interested in using this component in React 18, but it is written in React 16 so that is not possible.
Is there a branch where React 17 & Webpack 5 support is coming?

We do not currently have a branch using React 17. We have been doing some work towards using Webpack 5 lately, but it will not be ready for some time.
