WishList : Format Applies to Current Line if no selection

Request : Text Formatting commands apply to current line if nothing is selected - as opposed to doing nothing.
Why?
Frequently use NV for impromptu burndown lists - using strikethrough on bulleted items as they are done.
Doing a jump far right, select, jump far left, format command, then get back to where I was is more work then necessary.
