Error when running ch3 model

Opened this issue · 5 comments

Yesterday I was running these models just fine. Today all ch1 models (b&w) run without issue but the ch3 (colour) models give this error for this particular image. The text is copy and pasted from what worked yesterday so I'm not sure what the issue is. Other images are working, just not this specific image and I'm not sure what the issue is.

I have also attached the image (I had to lower the quality it upload it).

I think I know what the issue is — it’s a bug I’ve been procrastinating on fixing because it doesn’t come up too often. Can you please post the full command that you used to run this file in pylc? Thx!

The code is:
python pylc.py test --model/Users/mountainlegacyproject/Documents/Maya/Pylc/pylc_2-3_deeplab_ch3_schema_a.pth--img /Users/mountainlegacyproject/Documents/Maya/Trout/PhotosNMasks/Spray_Lakes/Nichols/Stn45_Rimwall/Az58/5497/DSC_5497.jpg--scale 0.4

I wasn't able to recreate the error, but I was able to create a low-res segmentation map using the image you sent. Can you send me (via email) a download link to the original image?

Interestingly, the photo seems to have something wrong with it. I tried to upload it to both Google Images & Flickr and both gave me an error. Flickr said it was "not a valid photo" - I'm not sure what that means. Could it be just that the file is too big, or that there is something wrong and that is what is giving the AI grief?

I can't say for sure, but I was able to classify the image (4896 × 3268) you sent linked to your Google account, no problem. You could try saving from the source image again (in case there was a conversion error), or use the image on Google, which doesn't seem to have any problems.
