Correct place where to describe workflow

Where should I describe the workflow (README or keep it internally)?

By workflow I mean:

• download data from BIC
• convert it to BIDS
• run the pipeline

i don't think you need to detail the BIC download and BIDS conversion steps.

only the "run pipeline" step, in the readme, as in other sct-pipeline repos.
