At release time, this package was in sync with PHPUnit 9.0, both requiring PHP 7.3 and using v3
To keep in sync with PHPUnit 9.3, please switch to v5

Eventually, yes. But this is not a priority for me. This tool should be used from a PHAR and not be installed through Composer.
