Roff files with very large tables don't render on PDF (groff error)

Describe the bug
When trying to render the man page for systemd.unit as PDF, the table named "Table 4. Specifiers available in unit files" doesn't render because of an error on the Groff formatter. See also systemd/systemd#27213.

To Reproduce
Run manpdf https://manned.org/raw/systemd.unit.5

Expected behavior
Table on page 20 should render.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• OS: N/A
• Version (mandb --version): 2.11.2
• Groff version (groff --version): 1.22.4

According to systemd, the issue is caused by use of Docbook to generate their manpages, which is known to be faulty. Likely solution is for systemd to migrate to a new documentation pipeline in the future. Closing.
