Add setter for scroll sensitivity-related attribute "dist_step"

It seems to me as if the fixed value 40.0 is just too slow for the viewer to be usable. Especially if one is drawing huge objects, scrolling out of the object or into the object takes ages. I would like to suggest to make the scroll sensitivity-related attribute dist_step changeable with a public setter.
