I'm assuming you're talking about errors that happen while running import linter (e.g. a malformed contract), rather than contract failures which I think should just be included in the standard report that is output to the user. Do you agree?

I'd be interested to know more about what issues this is currently causing for you and how a change in the behaviour would help. Could you provide more context?
