Alternative for TAP kernel extension on macOS

Apple is deprecating third-party kernel extensions, so using tuntaposx might no longer be an option in the future. VPN developers such as Viscosity have apparently switched to macOS' virtual ethernet and fake ethernet facilities.
Unfortunately, I do not have time to work on this myself. Also, unless there is a fix for #30, we might think about dropping macOS support completely...
