Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes

HI,

Brand new installation keep getting this when installing:

Error while creating database. Please check permission for your account or MYSQL version.
Error: Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes

When I press indstall again, it says "Settings" table already created.

I look in PHPMYADMIN and db is populated

What to do?
