Describe the bug
Unicode vowel-letters do not produce correct `firstLetter output. Instead, the conjoined vowel-letter is included.

To Reproduce
firstLetters('ਇਕਨਾ. ਹੁਕਮੀ ਬਖਸੀਸ; ਇਕਿ, ਹੁਕਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਭਵਾਈਅਹਿ ॥') => ਇ.ਹਬ;ਇ,ਹਸਭ॥`

ੲ.ਹਬ;ੲ,ਹਸਭ॥
