The read me mentions compatibility with some clients but doesn't spell out which ones. I just installed ProtonMail-bridge on Unraid.

I am able to access the bridge and configure Thunderbird on Mac OS 12.01 Monterey perfectly.

Trying to access the bridge on Mac Mail nets a whole lot of these

Pretty sure it is a certificate issue with Mac Mail. Curious if anyone else has gotten this to work? The ProtonMail official bridge for Mac does work with Mac Mail.

Trying to load that and then change the IP address doesn't work. Certificate problems.

Am I chasing my tail with Mac Mail?
