I'm working on this, Dan. You can check out a demo here: https://sm-wistful.github.io/nvisdemo/demo.html. It's not finalized, and I think there's a lot of work to do, but I would appreciate your feedback. I'm going to make a PR soon so it can be evaluated and worked on by everyone.
