no errors when I change devtool to 'sourcemap' or 'cheap-module-source-map',

Well Can't figure out what causing this, but I have cheap-module-source-map, and still getting this error.

The problem is a wrong configuration of add-asset-html-webpack-plugin (https://github.com/SimenB/add-asset-html-webpack-plugin)
So, either you generate some source maps or turn it off (parameter: includeSourcemap, default: true)
