Not working anymore?

Due to change in Chrome Extension APIs this extension doesn't seem to work anymore. I've tested it by installing it on a clean Chrome in both Linux (version 35) and Mac (version 36).
What I mean by doesn't seem to work is that the icon in the urlbar doesn't show up anymore.
Please note that I've also opened this issue in tosdr#8 since I didn't know where to submit it.
