How does splunk-otel-android capture data for my app's background processes?
Splunk RUM will only capture data for the processes it is initialized for. Given that different processes have different memory spaces in Android; initializing Splunk RUM across non "user-interactive" app processes will capture different sessions / session IDs which may be less valuable for monitoring and troubleshooting.
