Automated workflow runs do not trigger other (validation) workflow runs with default GH token

I JUST somehow remembered that reusable workflows do not trigger other workflows without a PAT token. See CI in #506

@kommendorkapten maybe you know as well, is there any workaround besides storing my PAT token in GH secrets and using that to trigger the reusable workflow?
