It's 'license', not 'licence'.

Only if you're in the USA. As the OED says...
Do not confuse licence with license. Licence is a noun which means 'a permit to do something' (a driving licence), whereas license is a verb meaning 'give a permit to someone; allow something' (the loggers are licensed to cut mahogany trees). In American English, both the noun and the verb are spelled license.
On the other hand, if it really is causing a problem for Americans then I could see if the Package Control maintainers would let me add an extra entry with the US spelling. If anyone reading this would like this to happen, leave a comment and I'll do it if there's enough interest.
