Widgets have gone after SS3 upgrade

I've upgraded a website from SS3 and all the widgets 'BlogSideBar' is not working at all on. They do work if I create a new Blog page but not on an existing Blog page. In the CMS the widgets all look fine and are enabled but they don't show at all. Any ideas?
