article summary + pic on front page

Could we get a slideshow/rollbar with the latest articles on the front page? At current there are nice pictures scrollling, but the "news" is relatively hidden behind their titles (last 3?) on the bottom of the page.

Now they are a little more visible, and that has to do for a little while.
