Option to remove subtasks?

Would it be possible to add the option to not have subtasks? For many the ability to organise by projects and tasks would be enough, and anything more would be confusing.

Go to plugin admin area. It's global for all groups. Section in the right sidebar (called "Enable/Disable features" or something similar).

The section is called Display-Hide some features,
In Screen options for Screen Layout please select 2 columns, instead of 1. You will see several new sections.

Thanks. I think there was a glitch. I was not seeing any of the sidebar sections. I had to disable everything and then re-enable, and now I see everything.

There is no default option showing for "Do you want to use subtasks feature (tasks under tasks in hierarchy)?", i.e. neither radio button is enabled. Subtasks are disabled on the page though.

The default option is on (when the plugin is first activated).
Just click Enable and save options.

had some hard time to figure out where to find this option, while translating GTM to italian I've seen the string "subtasks" repeatedly but was not finding this feature nor in frontend or backend.

at the end, reading this issue tought about WP 1 or 2 columns option for plugin backend interfaces, i mean that available from the "screen" option near the upper right corner, changed to 2 columns, reloaded the page and BANG, I've just discovered 8 useful new options!

1 column is the default in wordpress, a notice to change this option should be visible somewhere for first time users.
strangely the subtask option was blank, it wasn't enabled nor disabled, and until I've enabled it wasn't seeing subtasks in frontend

hurrah for the subtasks feature I wasn't seeing before!

I have some plans about GTM... Perhaps I will create a paid v2.0 as a fork to this free version. I will try to fix as more bugs as possible and to add some new features. Dunno when it will be ready.
