Please add a feature to bulk update items/biblio data

Recently I was trying to bulk update items (exemplar) using Item Import feature but to no avail as it results in Mysql error (Duplicate Entry).

Since there are hundreds of data to update, I think it would be better using a bulk update feature instead of doing it one by one. Please consider making a plugin or menu to anticipate such requirement.
