Isolate Builds

Observation
The builds from make commands and the custom configuration files and parameters required are entangled with the source files, such that one cannot delete just custom builds without changing the default state of the cloned repo

Recommendation
Every custom required build and configuration should be generated in a single dir which can be deleted (cleaned up) with a make remove or make clean command
