The guide has a panel with a warning about firewalls for users self-hosting from home, but does not mention that they almost certainly have a dynamic IP address, and should use a dynamic DNS service.

Thanks for catching this! We already had a couple of FAQ entries about dynamic IPs and domain names, so I've linked to those from the quickstart guide.
