  1. Create a popup
  2. Add a shortcode element
  3. insert the shortcode
  4. the shortcode is executed neither in the backend nor in the frontend
  5. add a shortcode wraper element
  6. insert the shortcode
  7. the message "invalid shortcode" is displayed in the frontend and backend.

the shortcode element works perfectly on a page, but not in a popup

Update: only shortcodes that were already available in version 1.x work.
newly added shortcodes do not work on a "normal page" either
