Describe how CoC committee gets updated

A lightweight process to adding new members.
I propose that it be a volunteer candidate be a simple présentation in solid team with a vote at next or current meeting without the candidate be present at the vote.
I'll try to elaborate:
Are you suggesting that the candidate is invited to a part of a Solid Team meeting where they can present themselves in which their identity is not disclosed in the minutes (in case there is an objection); candidate leaves the meeting; Solid Team discusses; and if no objections, candidate (or Solid Team) follows-up with a PR?
Also want to note that (based on previous discussion IIRC [citation needed]), membership in CoCC doesn't entail/require membership in Solid Team and vice versa. That's how we approached it at least in the past. IIRC, this was partly so that CoCC can operate independently as a neutral party.
Considering the context, it may be appropriate to ensure that CoCC operates independently. It needs to have equal representation as possible without being elected or represented by anyone/entity in particular.
People will get accepted unless there are objections. Objections could be based on the person themselves or other concerns. Such as: we have enough people for the tasks already, etc.
CoCC would be the appropriate team to propose/process candidates. If CoCC approves a candidate internally, the remainder of the process should be in public where they PR themselves to be added to the CoCC, which would give the wider community a chance to respond as well - serving as a double check or catch any oversight.
Its OK for me
