Solo2 fails to register with Okta as NFC device

I registered my Solo2 key as a 2FA method in Okta via the USB connection and it worked fine. However, when I attempted to use the same Solo2 as an NFC device for Okta, I got "timed out or not accepted" with this link.

I attempted to add the key as an additional "Security Key", again using NFC, and got the same error message and link. I don't have a lot of visibility into the Okta web-app itself, so I'm not sure what more information I could provide.
