Menu bar has the text with the same color as the background

The menu bar has the text with the same color as the background, this doesn't happen to every application. If I hover the menu item, I can see the text of that menu item.

I'm using Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 and GNOME Shell version is 3.24.2.

What the problem might be?

thx problem found has something to do with the budgie theming.
Hope to push it tomorrow, atm still working on a extra color sheme.
