Error in Storable: "wrong argument type String (expected Data)"

$ ruby bin/rudy-ec2 -f yaml groups
ERROR (TypeError): wrong argument type String (expected Data)

This appears to be an issue with the YAML lib. I've heard tale of a workaround but I'm still investigating.
