Once set, the URL in the options page cannot be updated

Once the URL has been initially set, it cannot be updated without uninstalling and installing the extension. Feels like something around field validation. Found by a user and reproduced by me.

I am now seeing this in the latest repo version. Evidence pointing to validation problem in teh shared component?
