Hi,
I am getting below error message when I open the VSCode. The extension is installed on remote workspace running Ubuntu -
OS - Ubuntu
Sourcery Version - 0.12.7
[Error - 11:39:16 PM] Connection to server is erroring. Shutting down server.
/home/ratnesh.nagori/.vscode-server/extensions/sourcery.sourcery-0.12.7/sourcery_binaries/install/linux/sourcery: 2: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting ")")
Can you please let me know what this is about?
Regards,
Ratnesh
Hi Ratnesh,
Thanks for reporting this issue.
I have some questions for the troubleshooting:
- Do I understand correctly that the local environment and the remote workspace both run Ubuntu?
- If yes: Which Ubuntu version?
Thanks for the clarification.
Cheers,
Reka
Hi Reka,
Thanks for the reply.
Local environment is macOS with VSCode installed on it. But it shouldnt matter because I connect to remote server using SSH.
Remote environment has version - Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Thanks
Ratnesh
@stella-ratnesh-nagori Apologies for the long delay in follow-up.
Does this still occur with the latest Sourcery version?
Also if you could send your .sourcery.yaml
file if you have one, and your sourcery log file, that would be amazing.
