Rename 'master' branch to 'main'

I thought we had a place holder issue for this, but I cannot find it...

We put off doing this so it wouldn't cause any confusion during commissioning, but we need to get it done. I did it previously for a few other projects and it was no hassle.

  1. Delete our currently way out of date main branch.
  2. Rename master to main following https://github.com/github/renaming
