Great plugin! Exactly what I was looking for.
Used it on my website and does the job, but not in IE8.

Is there a way to fix this?

I've just tested the plugin in IE7,8,9 and I can't replicate your issue. Can you post some example markup/code to replicate the issue you have? http://jsfiddle.net/ is a good place to do so.

It would also help if you reported on which OS and service pack you were running. Also - if you could post the JavaScript error that'd be helpful as well.
