Progress bar only shows when files are dropped, not selected

Laravel: 10.17.1
Media Library Pro: 2.7.3

Using the bade component.

<x-media-library-collection name="test" :model="$model " />

When I selecting a file the progress does not update, when dropping a file the progress bar appears.
