if you are opening it in a normal web browser, it may be blocked by same-origin policy.

Do some research on same-origin policies. That explains the issue. This library is not intended to be used in a normal browser environment. It works as intended in the environments we do support, like Adobe AIR, Titanium Desktop, and Palm webOS.

When I try to use this same file, in IE I get an error that jQuery is null or is not an object (line 12456), in FirefoxI get "search_result is undefined", and in Chrome, it just doesn't work at all.

I guess I'm confused by the comment "if you are opening it in a normal web browser..". I'd need to implement this to show a hashtag feed from twitter, that's going to be shown in a "normal web browser".

I definitely appreciate any time you can spend on this! :)
