Game Gear ROM & save file dumping

Hey, this is actually a request, not an actually issue/problem, so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place.

Anyway, with the jailbreaks of both the NT Mini and the Super NT, ROM dumping was added as an additional feature. This has allowed me to dump my ROMs and save files for all my old NES, Famicom, SNES, and Super Famicom carts. Unfortunately, this feature was never implemented into the Mega SG's jailbreak. Thankfully, I could dump ROMs from Genesis carts with my Retrode 2, but it would have been nice to be able to dump ROMs and save files form Game Gear carts via the GG Adapter for the Mega SG.

There seem to be very few affordable, available, and stable ways to dump ROMs and save files from GG carts right now.

I know that openFPGA isn't actually a "jailbreak" like with previous Analogue consoles, but would it be possible to add Game Gear cart-dumping capabilities to this Game Gear core, utilizing the Game Gear adapter? Or is that 100% impossible due to cart reading functionality being tied to the other FPGA on board (not the openFPGA one)?

Please help. We're all pretty darn sure that you're Kevtris, and if anyone can pull this off...it would be him. I know that dumping your ROMs (rather than downloading) isn't important to everyone, but it is to some of us. The Game Gear community has been snubbed of this capability for way too long.
