Hello,

We've setup the kafka cluster and the setup was pretty easy. Thanks for the great work! Wanted to know. How do I send messages to this cluster? I've been trying but I get a message saying:

[2017-11-14 22:05:58,380] WARN Property topic is not valid (kafka.utils.VerifiableProperties)

I am trying to produce from a different server to the kafka cluster.
