Feature Request: New ALTTP Randomizer Mode "Battle"

Please forgive me if this is not the correct place to make such a proposal. Feel free to close or direct me to a more appropriate place if needed.
I would like to propose a new game mode: Battle! This mode would be for 2 (or potentially more!) players in the fashion of a cross-worlds seed. However, instead of working together to fill out your item pools, you will be fighting to finish first while trying to disrupt your opponent(s) as much as possible.
Please note: I am not entirely familiar with how the randomizer works behind the scenes and/or if any of this is even possible. It's just a brain dump of an idea. Perhaps some or all of it can be implemented in future versions to make more entertaining and competitive play.
Here's a general outline of how "Battle" mode might work. This is assuming only a 2-player game, as things will become much more complicated with more than two.
- Both players start like normal, but the item pool will slightly be skewed to give earlier than normal access to the dark world (or opposite if starting inverted). Players will race to find items as normal up until the first player is able to step on a warp point.
- The first player to step on a warp point will activate Battle mode.
- In Battle Mode, both players are swapped.
- Player A takes over Player B, Player B takes over Player A.
- This means the player actually takes over the other player completely... their location, their status, their item pools, etc.
- While in control of the other player, your job is to do whatever you can do hinder the other player's progress.
- Visit already open chests and drop a random item back into the chest, forcing the original player to find and reopen it.
- Sell items to shops, forcing players to buy their items back.
- Spend rupees, empty inventory, etc.
- To prevent just mashing warp points to change modes, only TWO warp points at any given time can switch back into normal mode. These will be indicated by a different color and will change to random locations every time the game mode is flipped.
- When someone steps on a special warp point, players switch back to normal and continue to press on.
- All other normal randomizer rules can apply.
- First person to satisfy the goals of the seed wins!
- Player A takes over Player B, Player B takes over Player A.
There may be some special concerns:
- Save & Quit would cause issues and be ripe for abuse preventing a switch from happening. This may need to be disabled and/or rethought for this mode.
- While taking control of the other player, some visual indicator should likely make it obvious you're in disrupt mode. Perhaps a dark version of the sprite, inverted colors, or something else. (Not sure what the limitations are here.)
And there's probably a whole lot of other things I have not thought about. Honestly, this idea may be completely infeasible and in which case, feel free to close.

Firstly, this suggestion looks really cool and I personally think would be fun to play. That being said, this would require a ton of development and as a result we don't feel like we've got the resources to handle something of this scope. We do have some upcoming tech that would make this easier, but even then this would require many hours of development work that we want to put elsewhere.
