Which version of STS are you using? Can you reproduce this with the corresponding plain vanilla Eclipse? It seems like an Eclipse issues as there are no occurrences of spring in the stack trace...
It'd help us if you could provide some steps to reproduce this exception.

@Kavyashree99 why did you close the issue? Problem solved? If yes, how? Maybe other users could benefit from sharing your solution... :-)

I am not 100% sure but I think the error comes from Eclipse platform and has something to do with certain editors in the workspace having trouble being restored from the workspace state. The problem is pretty 'harmless' and the errors probably just go away if you close these 'empty editors' so that the next time when you open the workspace, they are not there anytmore and are notr trying to be restored.
