Hello,
Are you planning to update your project and the tutorial to angular 7 and angular cli 7 ?

Yes that's planned. But please let us know what issues you have when using angular cli 7, as we don't use the cli in our own projects.

Project and documentation are updated for Angular 9. The changes will be published in the next release.
