There are already several BrightnessControl's out there and it is very generic

Unfortunately http://lumos.sourceforge.net/ already has the name "Lumos", but if nothing else comes to mind it's likely going to become the new name

More Options in Japanese

Hikari
- means "light"
- easy to type
- already taken by a wayland compositor
Akarui
- means "bright"
- could be butchered to akrui
- a little hard to type
Kido
- means "brightness"
- this is pretty close to Kodi, but is not taken
- fairly easy to type
