ID shows up as a strong of numbers rather than my ID name, no longer able to use dApps

This is coming in from a user in support who has been sent a link to this issue to add to. I will add anything else in here that they send to support. I am inquiring about use of incognito mode.
My username is wobblemaster.id.blockstack but when I go to my user it says something entirely different. Tried to reregister, says I'm already registered. Any help would be appreciated.
Now XORDrive says I don't have an ID. My browser is set to clear data on exit. What could have caused this?

I was using Brave browser nightly and Windows 10 1903
it seems the ID held until I rebooted the browser again. It said my Id name and everything and its back to a string of numbers and text.
Thanks for the response. Just wanted to let you know that the fix worked for me. However I've noticed when resetting passwords it doesn't stay as the same when logging in again. It asks for the original and not the new password asked for after my recovery phrase and not the magic entry code or whatever. Pardon the misidentified term.
I was able to reproduce this is firefox, it went away after refresh I will pull this into the sprint.

@timstackblock mind laying out the exact steps you took to reproduce this bug so I can try as well? I'm not sure I follow the behavior here exactly given the description.
