Currently, awesome_bot is used to check for dead links, and it passes on all the links.

  • However, the output of the tool is not very descriptive - it hangs for too long on some links, and it is not clear which of the links are taking longer.
  • Some resources give the 403 answer to the tool while the page is definitely there.

As of this commit, the custom script seems to work well enough.
