how can i edit the style sheet to make it match the page?

or at least have no bg color?

There isn't a way to assign your own color code (or none that I know of) however, you can change the theme of the form. Once you get the form (has been sent via google drive for edits), head over to form -> edit form. Here on the upper left, click on theme: plain and cycle through the themes they have.
