Is this project still alive?

No commit for ages, sporadic replies to issues, still not in staging. Can we please have a status update?

I hunted for the same question for quite some time and concluded that this project was dead because of sale to Hitachi. I wouldn't use this on any production system I care about.

I want to check the status, too.
EnhanceIO is really good. Does anyone try to fork and continue this project?
The truth is that Hitachi killed an open-source project.

I can say at my individual capacity (being one of the developers) that I can try looking at current open issues. This I will be solely doing at my individual capacity and not during the business hours. I would like to get issues fixed and any other feedback around using EnhanceIO.

From the Hitachi's perspective I do not have any answer as of now in terms of commitment to this project.

Thanks for the update @bhansaliakhil would you be in a position to get some clarifications concerning Hitachi's commitment?

@kubrickfr I will try to get the clarification on the same. Thank you for your interest in EnhanceIO.

Is the following paid version of EnhanceIO still available ?
http://www.hgst.com/software/enhanceIO-ssd-cache-software

What license is this commercial version under ?

This was recently announced, I have not found information if it is related to enhanceIO or something else... http://www.hgst.com/software/HGST-server-cache

I've forked this project some time ago - as I am using it in daily basis - and fixed some annoying bugs, plus added support for Linux >=3.17 and Linux-ck.

The new fork is in https://github.com/Frontier314/EnhanceIO

@Frontier314 Do you have any documentation around different stats of enhanceIO
I tried to look your forked version but cant find
@bhansaliakhil are we merging open pull requests

https://github.com/lanconnected/EnhanceIO appears to be the only active fork.
