Is it possible to keep the menu from closing when toggling settings?

I don't know the answer to this but I think it would be tremendously useful for this application if it was possible to toggle certain settings without having the menu close for each change.
For example, you might want to enable the Wi-Fi functionality and also change what it does the device is unlocked, and then finally hide the icon. Right now this requires that you open the menu three times, open the Wi-Fi submenu twice, and click six times in total. If the menu didn't close automatically then you'd just have to open the menu once, open the Wi-Fi submenu once, and click four times in total.
There are some native macOS toggles that don't close the menu, like the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles, but I have no idea if this is usable for third party developers (preferably without a ton of code needed). I'm opening this issue in the hopes that someone more knowledgeable than me will see it.
